When I say common knowledge, I mean stuff like 'The Earth has one moon'. The kind of things everyone knows, or can know by looking it up just about anywhere. This list will continue to grow, and if the bit of information is deemed unnecessary, then it will be taken off.
The List of Facts
- Senidore has two moons, not just one. One moon represents Sangalso while the other represents Diemetro. They are constantly changing places, but you know which is which since one gives off a whitish-blue glow while the other gives off a light red.
- Once every five hundred years, the moons will change between a bright blue , a blood red , and a dark lavender. They will all happen within a nine year span, the red happening first, then the blue, and finally the purple, each glow continues to shine like that for three nights in a row. Each moon color change gets its own festival respectively: The Blood Festival, The Snow Festival, and The Magic Festival.
- The Blood Festival happens once every five hundred years. It goes on for three nights and three days. It is said that Diemetro is at her strongest during the Double Blood Moons, and if you don't put up your sleeping charms, she we'll give you eternal nightmares or curse you for a million years. Despite the fact that Diemetro is the main goddess, the festival is always enjoyed by children and adults of all ages. Magicians can also try and get a Red Key in the Magic Trail held here. The Red Key is needed to get into the Magic Festival.
- The Snow Festival takes place only during the Double Blue Moon, which only happens once every five hundred years. It is in honor of Sangalso, who is at the peak of her power during this time. It is said, that if you leave an offering out during the night while your asleep, she'll give you eternal happiness as your reward. The main event at the festival is the Magic Trial to see which Magicians get the Blue Key. You need the Blue Key in order to get in the Magic Festival.
- The Magic Festival is really just a huge tournament that the kings and nobles sponsor. Only the strongest of the strong magicians can enter, and whoever wins is crowned the Destined Hero. You must have at least one of the two keys in order to get in. If you obtain both, then you get the Purple Key. However, since so few people have gotten the Purple Key, what it does is unknown.
- Wolves, Dragons, Phoenix, and Unicorn Sacarians are naturally better at magic then any other race.
- Cat Sacarians are naturally better at weapon combat, from the bow and arrow to the sword.
- Bear Sacarians are naturally better at hand to hand (or fist and claw) combat style
- All Sacarians that have wings can hide them. It is a special magic that no other species can seem to copy.
- Mythical Creature Based Sacarians are much rarer and reproduce at a slower rate then any other kind of Sacarian.
- Reptilian Sacarians are warm-blooded, yet still do poorly in the cold.
- For some odd reason, there is a .5% chance that a Reptilian Sacarian can learn up to four elements, however these elements are already decided. In other words, if you are a Reptilian Sacarian, and you get the four element bonus, then the elements are already chosen for you.
- After the time the Hero legend is believed to take place, all wolf Sacarians dissappeared, only to reappear about two thousand years later. The reason for this is still unknown.
- There special sacarians that have vast knowledge of different things form a very young age. They are called Keepers and some are more common then others. However Keepers can only have two elements opposed to having three like most because of their special knowledge and skill.
- There are 7-9 different types of keepers
- Some type of powers can go with anything or at least most. like sound for example.
- Most magic types are branches of the origanl four (six if you count light and dark) well others are just their own thing.
- (unknown to some) Their are creatures called lupine that tend to stay away from the sacarians click 4 info on lupine (it's a rough draft still needs to be edited)
- Bears eat wolves (they just have called lupine that for the past 2,000 years and still call them that)
